Title: Provisioning Analyst
Description:
  • Candidate will be responsible for developing vehicle and vehicle systems Bill of Materials (BOM's) and will analyze engineering drawings and LSA inputs to determine proper parts to be provisioned.
  • The candidate must be familiar with Mil-Std-1388-2B and Mil-PRF-49506.
  • Candidate will research part data and identify all contract-required data elements for provisioned parts using on-line reference databases (HAYSTACK, FLIS, etc).
  • Experience using SLICwave 5.2 or PowerLOG-J for generating LSA reports (primarily LSA 030 and LSA 036) and using those reports to develop Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL's) are crucial to this role's success.
  • Candidate will be working in unison with various groups including logistics, project leaders, provisioning analysts and engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with ARMY projects is a significant plus.
  • AS Degree or equivalent certification in technical, mechanical or related field accepted. May substitute a minimum of 6 yrs of active military Logistics or Supply experience for AS degree.
  • Prior Military Experience is also a plus.

Project Engineer with a strong medical device/bio-med background. 

This is a contract assignment expected to last 6+ months with the potential to become permanent. 

Job duties Include: 

  • Responsible for identifying, auditing and supporting qualified contract developers and manufacturers required by internal development groups, conduct ongoing analysis in support of improvement initiatives, and drive corporate proficiencies in outsourcing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have significant experience outsourcing product development projects, contract design as well as contract manufacturing, preferably with U.S. firms.
  • Candidates should also have knowledge of Six Sigma or DMAIC methodology applied to product development projects or process improvement projects.
  • Degree Required.
  • Experience with MS Office, 3D CAD or MS Project a plus.
  • 5-10+ years of recent and relevant experience.
