What are your rates?

The Aries Group does not have a pre-set rate schedule since there are many variables that determine the final bill rate. For example, the assignment location and duration as well as the required duties, experience, and education, among others, all influence our rates.  Our goal is to deliver the most qualified candidate at market or below-market rates.

In which industries and skill-sets do you specialize?

The experience and talent of our recruiting team gives us the depth to help a client in any industry. For example, some recent projects included searches in the aircraft, defense, automotive, medical, electronics and power industries. We handle a wide array of skill-sets including electrical, mechanical, software, hardware, reliability, stress, manufacturing, and quality engineers as well as mechanical and electrical designers.

Do you have local candidates?

Our approach is to provide local depth with a national reach. Initially, we will exhaust all resources within a commutable distance to find the right candidate for you. If that candidate does not exist locally, we will extend our search regionally and then, if required, nationally.

What is the minimum amount of time I need to keep a contractor on assignment?

Although, we do not require a minimum duration, we do encourage our clients with short term needs to offer a minimum assignment of 500 hours to allow us to attract and recruit qualified candidates.  However, we realize that the benefit of using contractors lies in the flexibility of a contingent workforce. Therefore, clients are under no obligation to retain any contractor for a specific period of time.

Do you conduct a background check?

Each candidate is thoroughly prescreened and is subject to a background check conducted by Aries and HireRight, the leading provider of employee screening services. This background check includes employer references, education verification, a 7 year, criminal, felony, and misdemeanor check, and, if requested, a drug screening.

Can I convert the contractor to permanent?

Yes, in fact, these ‘trial periods’ have become very popular with our clients and contractors. Our client managers typically test our designer or engineer on a short-term contract basis and assess their skills and qualifications first hand before making an offer of direct employment.
