Title: Logistics Engineer
Description:

Responsible for the flow down of requirements, system concepts, algorithms, architecture, implementation concepts, technical planning, and system integration in the field of AC and DC Power Conversion and Protection as assigned by the Manager Project Engineering and the VP Engineering, under general supervision.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support marketing with proposals in areas of the technical approach and system architecture.
  • Interpret customer specifications to define requirements for system concepts and designs including functional and physical requirements definition and partitioning.
  • Provide system engineering support for development programs from conceptual design, through detail design and integration to completion. Ensure full definition of interfaces between designs from different engineering disciplines. Participate in design reviews, monitor and address any design changes and evaluate ongoing project risks and risk mitigation planning.
  • Write product and test specifications.
  • Perform engineering analysis of electrical circuits, equipment or systems using MATLAB, Simulink and ORCAD.
  • Systems Engineer will take directions from Project Engineers or Power Engineering Department Manager.

 

REQUIRED:  Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from four-year college or university and ten years related experience. Broad based technical knowledge and experience in order to understand and evaluate design and development activity across the engineering functions.  Preferred emphasis in control systems.  Familiarity with the military/defense contracting environment.  Experience in electronic power conversion equipment development, with at least 3 years of experience.  Outstanding written communication skills.  Strong verbal communication skills for internal and customer presentation.  Preferred experience in digital signal processing and analysis with MATLAB, Simulink and ORCAD.  Strong practical facilitation and arbitration skills.  Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Title: Reliability Engineer
Description:

We are presently recruiting for many open Reliability Engineers for both contract and permanent positions throughout the country.

 

Position/Responsibilities:

1) Manage complex Reliability and Safety programs involving systems integration responsibilities and guidance of other Reliability personnel. Conceptualize unique analytical solutions, as necessary.
2) Concurrently manage complex and typical Reliability/Maintainability and Safety programs.
3) Conceptualize appropriate Reliability Test programs to cost-effectively satisfy contractual requirements and provide a meaningful evaluation of Reliability capability.
4) Evaluate Reliability/Availability Guarantee terms and conditions and recommend technical and administrative exceptions, ground rules and caveats to prevent uncompensated contractual obligations and/or reduce risk. Prepare statistical forecasts to quantify the volume of returns/failures expected during the contractual period.
5) Serve as a Group Leader for Component Engineering. Provide technical guidance to Component Engineering, as required. Act as a technical liaison between EA and remote sites, as required. Provide occasional Component Engineering support (ex: component selection & obsolescence advisement, technical consultation for PMP issues with Design/Purchasing/QE), as required.

6) Several years performing FMEA’s during the design lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:
A BSME, BSEE or BSAE degree in with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience including several years as a Reliability Engineer or, alternatively, as a Designer or Project Manager leading to a career in the Reliability Engineering field.
